    Aims & Scope:
    The Journal of Cultural Economics is the only professional journal in the field and is the official journal of the ACEI. It publishes original papers that deal with the theoretical development of cultural economics as a subject, the application of economic analysis and econometrics to the field of culture, and with the economic aspects of cultural policy. Besides full-length papers, short papers and book reviews are also published.

    The Journal of Cultural Economics is abstracted/indexed in: ABI inform, CAB Abstracts, EBSCO, EconLit, ERIC System Database, International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (IBSS), JEL on CD, Journal of Economic Literature, Research Papers in Economics (RePEc), SCOPUS, Social Science Research Network (SSRN), Sociological Abstracts, Social SciSearch, and Current Contents/Social and Behavioral Sciences.

    The Journal is also included in the Social Science Citation Index with an Impact Factor in the 2009 Journal Citation Reports (JCR) of 0.906.

    All issues of the Journal are available online.

    The Journal is owned by Springer Verlag in collaboration with the ACEI. The two Co-Editors, the Book Review Editor and the Editorial Board are appointed in accordance with the recommendations of the ACEI.
