As one of the leading innovative talents in Guangzhou, Dr. Zhu is a professor and PhD supervisor of the South China University of Technology, as well as an adjunct professor and PhD supervisor of Chongqing University. He holds the chair of IEEE PES Smart Building, Loads and Customer Systems Technical Committee (China), and editorship of MPCE and other international journals. He is also Chair of IEEE P2781 Load Modeling and Simulation International Standard Working Group, Chair of IEEEP2783 Quick Response System International Standard Working Group, a member of IEEE SMC Standards Board, the IEEE SMC Intelligent Power and Energy System Special Committee, the Sino-Swiss Intelligent Grid Technology Expert Committee, and the National Power Demand Side Management Standards Expert Committee. Dr. Zhu is a former member of the judging panel for the first National Innovation Competition Award, an expert reviewer for talent introduction programs and key research projects at different administrative levels, Chair of IEEE SBLC Loads Subcommittee and the IEEE SBLC Asia Pacific Working Group.Prof. Goh Hui HwangGuangxi University, ChinaBrief introduction:Prof. Ir. Dr. Goh is a CSEE Fellow, certified energy manager of National Energy Commission, and former associate professor in the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Universitiy Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM). His research interests cover electrical engineering, electric systems, recyclable energy, embedded power generation, wavelet analysis, power load shedding, and data mining. Since 2008, Prof. Ir. Dr. Goh has been engaged in a series of projects intended to provide sustainable energy for developing countries and has won numerous awards at many international fairs.Aside from academic contributions, Prof. Ir. Dr. Goh is also active in Malaysia as an executive commissioner of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia Southern Branch(IEMSB), and former advisor to the Malaysia Student Section UTHM (IEM SS UTHM). Plus, he is a senior evaluator of the National Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC) and Engineering Technology Accreditation Council (ETAC) under the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), an academician of ASEAN Academy of Engineering Technology (AAET), an IET Fellow and IEM Fellow.Prof. Zhiwu LiXidian University, ChinaBrief introduction:Prof. Li is an IEEE Fellow and Founding Chair of the IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Xi’an Section. He received the B.S., M.S., and P.h.D. degrees from Xidian University in 1989, 1992, and 1995 respectively, and has been working at the university since 1992, where he rose to the rank of professor in 2002. His major research interests are supervisory control of discrete event systems, Petri net theory and applications as well as the modeling, analysis and control of complex biological system. So far, Dr. Li has published more than 60 papers and serves as a manuscript reviewer for 40-plus international journals. Prof. Xianbin WangFellow of Canadian Academy of Engineering, CanadaBrief introduction:Prof. Wang is a Fellow of Canadian Academy of Engineering, a Fellow of Engineering Institute of Canada, and a Fellow of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He served as an Editor-in-Chief, Associate-Editor-in-Chief, Editor/Associate Editor/Guest Editor for over ten journals, which include IEEE Transactions on Communications, IEEE Wireless Communications Letters, IEEE Transactions on Broadcasting and IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology. Dr. Wang was involved in numerous IEEE conferences including ICC, GLOBECOM, WCNC, VTC, CCECE and PIMRC, on different roles such as technical program co-chair, symposium chair, track chair, tutorial instructor TPC and session chair. Over the last decade, Wang has been nominated as an IEEE Distinguished Lecturer several times.Prof. Georgios TheodoropoulosWAAS Fellow, Chair Professor of SUSTechBrief introduction:Georgios Theodoropoulos joined SUSTech in 2017 from Durham University in the UK, where he was the Executive Director of the Institute of Advanced Research Computing(iARC) and held a Chair in the School of Engineering and Computing Sciences. Prior to that he was a Senior Research Scientist with the IBM Research and held senior faculty positions at the University of Birmingham, the Trinity College Dublin and the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His research areas include modelling and distributed simulation, complexity and multi-agent systems, info-symbiotic systems, high performance computing systems and data intensive computing. At present, he is committed to developing computational infrastructures for data driven, prescriptive, System-of-Systems analytics, which is aimed at meeting the global challenges defined by the UN SDGs. As an advocate of interdisciplinary research, he has led several groundbreaking initiatives and projects, ushering advances in computer science and digital technology into social sciences, arts and humanities.PublicationAll accepted full papers will be published in conference proceedings and will be submitted to EI Compendex/ Scopus for indexing.Note: All submitted articles should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical.
