Call For Papers - CFP
The conference will explore the social, historical and cultural dimensions of medicine. It will promote an interdisciplinary perspective on health, illness, health care and the body. The conference will also focus on the issues relevant to medical knowledge, public health policy, the experience of being ill and of caring for those who are ill.Papers are invited on topics related, but not limited, to:history of medicinemedical anthropologybioethicssociology of medicinemedicine in literature and cultural studiesmedicine and artmedicine and philosophyhealth geographymedical educationWe also welcome poster proposals that address one of the conference themes.The conference is addressed to academics, researchers and professionals with a particular interest related to the conference topic. Proposals up to 250 words and a brief biographical note should be sent by 25 November, 2018 to: medhumconflcir.co.uk.
