It is a necessary for academics to conduct in-depth research on industrial organization, industrial structure, industrial development, industrial distribution, industrial policies as well as the theories of industrial security from the view of globalization. International Conference on Industrial Economics System and Industrial Security Engineering (IEIS) is initiated under such backgrounds and is to provide a forum for people involved in the conference in the world to discuss the problems in industrial economics and industrial security theories and practices. It aims to provide insights in solving the problems in national economy, social development and economic security. The conference theme is “industrial development, industrial security and national economic security under the background of globalization”.IEIS is jointly initiated by China Center for Industrial Security Research of Beijing Jiaotong University, The International Center for Informatics Research of Beijing Jiaotong University and University of California at Berkley. IEIS2014-2018 were successfully held in Berkeley (USA), Barcelona (Spain), Sydney (Australia), Kyoto (Japan), Toronto (Canada) and Beijing (China). In total, about 300 authors from more than 10 countries and areas attended the conference. The proceedings have been indexed by CPCI-S (former ISTP) or EI Compendex from 2015 to 2018. In 2016, IEIS was approved by IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) to be one of IEEE conference series. The authors with excellent papers in the conference proceedings will be invited to publish their academic thoughts and methods in some international academic journals indexed by SSCI/SCI or EI with high priority.IEIS2019 will be hosted by IEEE Technical Committee on Logistics Informatics and Industrial Security Systems, China Center for Industrial Security Research of Beijing Jiaotong University, the International Center for Informatics Research of Beijing Jiaotong University, School of Economics and Management of Beijing Jiaotong University, in cooperation with University of Maryland, the University of Reading, and will be held during 26-29 July, 2019 in Maryland, USA, with satellite sessions in Beijing, China. The conference proceeding will be included in IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
