    The 2nd International Workshop on Smart City and Intelligent Systems (WSCIS 2021) will be held in Wuhan, China, from Sept. 23 to 25, 2021! WSCIS is organized by China University Of Geosciences(Wuhan), sponsored by Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers(HKSME). WSCIS welcomes articles in the field of Smart City and Intelligent Systems, dealing with new developments in theory, analytical and numerical simulation and modeling, experimentation, demonstration, advanced deployment and case studies, results of laboratory or field operational tests, under the general theme of Smart City and Intelligent Systems. On behalf of the organizing committee, we'd like to send our honest invitation to all distinguished researchers and practitioners to have an open dialogue for Smart City and Intelligent Systems in WSCIS.

    ●Publication and Indexing

    All the registered and presented papers will be published in the Conference Proceeding, which will be submitted to Engineering Village, Scopus, Thomson Reuters (WoS) and other indexing organizations for review and indexing.

    Prof. Dan Zhang,York University, Canada

    Dr. Zhang is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE), a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC), a Fellow of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and a Fellow of Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering (CSME), a Senior Member IEEE, and a Senior Member of SME.Dr. Dan Zhang is a Kaneff Professor and Tier 1 York Research Chair in Advanced Robotics and Mechatronics at York University.Dr. Zhang's research interests include robotics and mechatronics; high performance parallel robotic machine development; sustainable/green manufacturing systems; rehabilitation robot and rescue robot.

    Assoc. Prof. Simon James Fong, University of Macau, Macau S.A.R., China

    Simon is now working as an Associate Professor at the Computer and Information Science Department of the University of Macau. He is a co-founder of the Data Analytics and Collaborative Computing Research Group in the Faculty of Science and Technology. Prior to his academic career, Simon took up various managerial and technical posts, such as systems engineer, IT consultant and e-commerce director in Australia and Asia. Dr. Fong has published over 432 international conference and peer-reviewed journal papers, mostly in the areas of data mining, data stream mining, big data analytics, meta-heuristics optimization algorithms, and their applications.

    Prof. Lefei Zhang, Wuhan University, China

    Deputy director, professor and doctoral supervisor of Artificial Intelligence Department of School of computer science, Wuhan University, and excellent instructor of China graduate artificial intelligence innovation competition. Engaged in the research of pattern recognition, image processing, computer vision, etc., and published 27 SCI journal papers and 11 CCF class a conference papers as the first / corresponding author. The research results were cited by 8 academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences / Chinese Academy of engineering, 99 IEEE members and other peer experts. Google academic cited 5200 times, h-index was 33, and 3 ESI hot papers and 13 ESI highly cited papers were selected.

    Prof. Deze Zeng, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), China

    Professor and doctoral supervisor of School of computer science of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), director of Department of network engineering, deputy director of Hubei Key Laboratory of intelligent geoscience information processing, key subject talents of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), senior member of CCF and member of IEEE, mainly engaged in research work of edge computing, cloud computing, future network, etc. He served as editorial board member of Journal of network and computer applications, Frontiers of computer science, IEEE open Journal of the computer society, and guest editorial board member of several international famous SCI journals.
