    Dec. 17-20, 2020/Chengdu, China

    Web: http://www.wadce.org/

6th International Workshop on Aircraft Design and Control Engineering (WADCE 2020) will be held in Chengdu, China, during Dec. 17-20, 2020! WADCE 2020 is organized by Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers, technically sponsored by Fudan University and China University of Mining and Technology. WADEC 2020 is in conjunction with 6th International Conference on Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering (ICMAE 2020) ( www.icmae.net)

WADCE 2020 welcomes articles in the field of Aircraft Design and Control Engineering , dealing with new developments in theory, analytical and numerical simulation and modeling, experimentation, demonstration, advanced deployment and case studies, results of laboratory or field operational tests, under the general theme of Aircraft Design and Control Engineering .

On behalf of the organizing committee, we'd like to send our honest invitation to all distinguished researchers and practitioners to have an open dialogue for Aircraft Design and Control Engineering in WADCE 2020.

    ●Publication Information

All papers to be published must be presented on the conference. Selected excellent presented papers will be recommended to publish in the international journals.

    ●Keynote Speakers(Continuous update)

Prof. Ian R. McAndrew, Capitol Technology University, USA

An internationally recognized leader in aerodynamics research and expert on low-speed flight, Dr. McAndrew has five degrees: a PhD, two master’s degrees and two bachelor’s degrees. He is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society. Dr. McAndrew chairs several international conferences and journals and is invited to give keynote speeches all over the world. He started his career in the automotive industry as an engine designer, and has worked at several universities across the globe. Dr. McAndrew is dean of doctoral programs at Capitol.

Prof. Andrew Rae, University of the Highlands and Islands, UK

Prof Andrew Rae graduated from Imperial College in 1987 and joined the High-Lift Section of the Aerodynamics Department at the Royal Aircraft Establishment (later DRA, DERA and QinetiQ), Farnborough. He was Deputy Chairman of the Technical & Scientific Board of the European Wind Tunnel Association (EWA) and within this framework was the focus for wind tunnel correction and advanced simulation methodologies. He was a QinetiQ Approved Technical Authority and, as such, the signatory for the aerodynamics clearance of flight test aircraft modified to accommodate trials or upgrade equipment, and became a QinetiQ Technical Fellow in 2008 for his contribution to applied and experimental aerodynamics.
