    2020 International Workshop on Automation Technologies (WAT 2020)

    2020 International Workshop on Automation Technologies (WAT 2020) will be held in Swinburne University of Technology, Australia during Dec. 10-13, 2020. WAT 2020 is a workshop of CEECT 2020, which organized by Asia Pacific Institute of Science and Engineering(APISE), technical sponsored by Swinburne University of Technology and IEEE Control System Society, supported by Auckland University of Technology.

    The workshop will serve as an international forum for the presentation and exchange of technological advances and research results in the broad fields of Automation.We warmly welcome prospective authors to submit research papers to WAT 2020, and share your latest research results and valuable experiences with other top-scientists, engineers and scholars from all over the world.

    ●Publication and Indexing

    All the accepted papers will be included in the volume of conference proceedings, which will submitted to Ei Compendex, SCOPUS, Inspec, Conference Proceedings Citation Index – Science (CPCI-S)(Thomson Reuters, Web of Science), NASA Astrophysics Data System,and other databases for review and indexing.

    Prof. Z. Y. Dong, The University of New South Wales(UNSW Sydney), Australia

    IEEE Fellow, Professor Z.Y. Dong is a Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications, UNSW Sydney. His research interests include power system planning and stability, smart grid/microgrid, energy market and computational methods for power system analysis. He has served as editor/associate editor for a number of IEEE Transactions and IET journals. He is a highly cited researcher in 2019.

    Prof. Qianchuan Zhao, Tsinghua University, China

    Deputy Director of Center for Intelligent and Networked Systems, His Expertise and Research Interests is Safety analysis and performance optimization of networked dynamic systems. IEEE Senior Member.

    Prof. Hemanshu Pota, The University of New South Wales, Australian Defence Force Academy, Australia

    Editor-in-Chief of Technology and Economic Smart Grids and Sustainable Energy - A Springer Journal, Associate Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, Associate Editor of the IEEE Control System Society's (CSS) Conference Editorial Board (CEB).Hemanshu has published over 130 refereed journal papers in high impact journals, one book, fifteen book chapters, and over 270 international conference papers

    Prof. Ljubo Vlacic, Griffith University, Australia

    Editor in chief of IEEE intelligent transportation system, Professor Emeritus of Griffith University, Australia, chairman of the board of directors of Australian Institute of engineering, chairman of Queensland IET network, and chairman of ITSC 2019 of 2019 IEEE intelligent transportation system conference. He has won 19 awards, including IEEE Achievement Award (global), sir Lionel Hooke award, Queensland professional engineer of the year award and Gold Coast Business Ambassador Award.

    Prof. Gerard Ledwich, Queensland University of Technology, Australia

    Prof Ledwich has been at QUT since 1999 and is currently Discipline leader for Power Engineering as well as Theme Leader in the Institute for Future Environments. The power electronics area of his research covers the control of microgrids, power hardware in the loop. The other aspect of his power engineering research is in the equipment area where there is research on the on-line condition monitoring of oil-paper insulation. The power engineering group led by Prof Ledwich is a leading winner of ARC funds nationally and has established good relations with many industries nationally and other universities worldwide.

    Prof. Fushuan Wen, Zhejiang University, China

    Prof. Wen is the Editor-in-Chief of IET Energy Conversion and Economics, and a deputy Editor-in-Chief of Automation of Electric Power Systems. He also serves as the editor, subject editor and associate editor of a few international journals. He is the General Chair of the 10th IEEE PES Innovative Smart Grid Technologies Conference – Asia (ISGT-Asia 2020) to be held in Nov 23-27, 2020, in Perth, Australia.He is a professor in the Department of Electrical Power Engineering and Mechatronics, Tallinn University of Technology, taking leave from Zhejiang University. His research interests lie in power industry restructuring, power system alarm processing, fault diagnosis and restoration strategies, as well as smart grids and electric vehicles.

    Prof. Farhad Shahnia, Murdoch University, Australia

    IEEE Senior Member, Engineers Australia Member, Electric Energy Society of Australia (EESA) Member, Australasian Association for Engineering Education Member.
