This year’s edition is jointly organized by the following institutional partners: BASIQ Association; The University of Almería ; Bucharest University of Economic Studies - Faculty of Business and Tourism; Amfiteatru Economic Journal.

BASIQ International Conference aims at exploring the impact of the most recent transformations in business and consumer behavior on the economy and society.

Contributors are strongly advised to emphasize the significance of their research findings from a broader international and global perspective, even when their work focuses on specific geographies or cultures.

Within the scope of the conference, organizers invite contributions on the following main topics:

State of the art in economics and business

Demographic trends. Economic and social implications

Global and local sustainable development perspectives

Strengthening modern knowledge: competency-based education and new ways of capacity building

Value creation through innovative business models; new forms of market interaction, open innovation, and collaborative networks

New values, attitudes, and consumer behaviors. Emerging risks and evolving consumer rights

New trends in travel and tourism. Resilience and sustainability challenges in travel and tourism

Interdisciplinary and cross section contributions are also welcomed.

25 March 2024 - Full paper submission

30 April 2024 - Notification of paper acceptance to authors

15 May 2024 - Conference fee payment

The conference proceedings volume (with ISSN) will be submitted for indexation to Clarivate Analytics under the aegis of Amfiteatru Economic Journal.

Proceedings from previous editions (BASIQ 2015-2020) are indexed by The Conference Proceedings Citation Index, a Web of ScienceTM Core Collection database. The BASIQ 2021-2023 Proceedings have been submitted and are under review by Clarivate Analytics for indexing. Additionally, the Conference Proceedings are submitted to DOAJ and RePEc for indexing.
