    2020 Workshop on Pattern Recognition Applications (PRA 2020) is organized by Asia Pacific Institute of Science and Engineering(APISE). PRA 2020 will take place in Athens, Greece from July 30-August 2, 2020. PRA 2020 is a not-to-be-missed opportunity that distills the most current knowledge on a rapidly advancing discipline in one conference. Join key researchers and established professionals in the field of Pattern Recognition Applications as they assess the current state-of-the-art and roadmap crucial areas for future research.

    We sincerely invite all the researchers, scholars, engineers, students and people are in interested in these areas to take part in PRA 2020.

    Considering the current situation of COVID-19, the conference committee has decided to change the conference from onsite to online.

    ●Publication and Indexing

    All the registered and presented papers will be published in the Conference Proceeding ,which will submitted to EI Compendex, Thomson Reuters (WoS), Inspec, and other databases for review and indexing.

    ●Keynote Speaker

    Prof. Wenbing Zhao, Cleveland State University, USA

    Dr. Zhao has served on the US National Science Foundation panels, as a conference organizer, as a tutorial instructor, and as a member of the technical program committee of numerous conferences/workshops, including the IEEE Smart World Congress, IEEE Smart IoT Conference, IEEE International Conference on Web Services, IEEE International Conference on Dependable, Autonomic and Secure Computing, IEEE International Conference on Mobile Services, the IEEE International Conference on Embedded Software and Systems. Dr. Zhao is currently serving as an Associate Editor for IEEE Access and MDPI Computers, as an Academic Editor for PeerJ Computer Science, and on the editorial board of International Journal of Parallel Emergent and Distributed Systems, Applied System Innovation (MDPI), International Journal of Performability Engineering (Rams Consultants), International Journal of Distributed Systems and Technologies (IGI Global).

    Prof. Xiaoyi Jiang, University of Münster, Germany

    Since 2002 he is a full professor at University of Münster, Germany, and currently the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science. He is Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence. In addition, he also serves on the advisory board and editorial board of several other journals including IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging and International Journal of Neural Systems. His research interests include image analysis, pattern recognition, and machine learning. Prof. Jiang is a Fellow of IAPR (International Association for Pattern Recognition) and senior member of IEEE.

    Prof.Yonghong Peng, University of Sunderland, UK

    Prof. Peng is a Professor of Data Science and the leader for research and innovation of Data Science and Big Data at the University of Sunderland. He is the Chair for the Big Data Task Force (BDTF) of IEEE computational intelligence society (CIS), and a member of Data Mining and Big Data Analytics Technical Committee of IEEE CIS.He is also a founding member of the Technical Committee on Big Data (TCBD) of IEEE Communications, and a member of Big Data Task Force of China Information Industry Association (CIIA).He is an advisory board member for IEEE Special Interest Group (SIG) on Big Data for Cybersecurity. He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Transaction on Big Data, a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Big Data Intelligence, and an Academic Editor of PeerJ and PeerJ Computer Science, a colleague of grant review for EPSRC, MRC, BBSRC, British Council, Heart Research UK, Welcome Trust and Nuffield Foundation.
