    The 6th annual Scottish Advances in Photonic Tools and Techniques for the Life Sciences one day conference - previously held in Edinburgh, Heriot-Watt and Strathclyde universities. This free conference is ideal for anyone wishing to learn more about biophotonics, photonics and microscopy subjects in bio-medical-life science disciplines. CALLING ALL YOUNG RESEARCHERS The main meeting programme will be by invitation however we are keen to involve young researchers who are investigating novel and exciting new techniques or unique applications. These are welcomed on subjects in the wider field of photonics when related to aspects of biophotonics including biomedical spectroscopy and bioimaging.
