    CALL FOR PAPERS

    The School of Law of the Social Sciences University of Ankara is accepting papers to be presented at the “International Conference on Socio-Legal Studies” in Ankara on 4-7 October 2018.

    The theme of this interdisciplinary conference is “Personality and Justice”. The scope is, in particular, the social basis of personality and the personality basis of justice, and in general, how legal phenomena are influenced by the so-called extra-legal factors such as politics, religion, culture, and psychology.

    Submissions in all related areas and from all branches of science are welcome.

    Junior and senior academics are encouraged to present their innovative research and ideas.

    Important Dates and Notes:

    * 30 June 2018: Deadline for abstract submission (250 words maximum) via lawyerprojectatasbu.edu.tr

    * 31 July 2018: Accepted papers are announced and registration opens.

    * 31 August 2018: Last day of registration. Registration fee is $50 for students, and $100 for others. Exemptions will be made based on need or merit. A limited number of travel or accommodation grants may be offered based on merit.

    * 20 September 2018: Deadline for the submission of full-text papers, written in APA style. Selected papers will be published.

    * Conference languages are English and Turkish.
