Call For Papers - CFP

We invite you to join us at the World Future Forum in Chicago on April 25-26, 2019. The Forum will offer a unique opportunity for school administrators, academics, and other professionals—from around the world—to present a wide array of perspectives and expertise in the pursuit of excellence in post-high school education.

Most importantly, this group of academics will share recent research and best practices for one common goal and our priority: to ensure transition, college persistence, and career readiness.

This brand-new conference is spearheaded by the Future Institute Research Center (FIRC), with researcher fellows from the following institutions: Lindenwood University, University of Wisconsin- Madison, Bradley University, University of Northern Iowa, and Future Institute. FIRC plans and conducts rigorous research on college and career success, and disseminates the findings, which leads to data-driven decision making.

Transitioning to Tomorrow: College and Career Readiness for Success is the theme of World Future Forum 2019. The Forum’s goal is to examine and fit together the following individual “pieces” of the complex puzzle that is secondary and post high school education:

College Transition and Persistence

Workforce Skills and Demands

Next Generation High Schools

College and Career Outcomes of High Schools

Academic Preparation for College Readiness

Student Debt

Post-High School Challenges

Technology and Innovation in Education

We seek research papers in these interdependent areas.
