There is considerable discussion about how educators and those who run higher education institutions should meet ensure relevant, cost effective and accessible education fit for the challenges of the Twenty First Century. The basic objective of the conference will be to expose the participants to the some of the current challenges facing practioners in leadership roles as well as those at the forefront of delivering meaningful education. This could best be achieved by bringing together experts from various fields-academics and professionals- to discuss and evaluate the options opening up on a common platform namely, the conference proposed. It is expected that at the end of this exercise, the participants will be in a position to develop actionable strategies and policies that enable greater effectiveness and meaning.
