ARCHDESIGN '18 / V. International Architectural Design Conference will be held at RIXOS Libertas Meeting Halls in Dubrovnik, Croatia - the King's Landing of Game of Thrones. The conference is coordinated by DAKAM (Eastern Mediterranean Academic Research Center) and will be organized by BILSAS (Science, Art, Sport Productions).Since 2014, nearly two hundred presentations by scholars from different places of the world has been hosted by DAKAM's ARCHDESIGN Conferences and four proceedings books have been published. All abstracts are going to be selected according to double blind reviews and accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings E-Book with an ISBN number that will be given to you in a DVD box during conference registration.In addition to proceeding book, pariticipants can apply to DAKAM's International Journal of Architecture and Urban Studies (ISSN: ISSN 2147-9836) during the registration to be reviewed and evaluated for publishing in Fall 2018.Viewers of the TV series Game of Thrones will understand the thrill of visiting the real-world filming locations of its scenes set in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Roofs with orange terracotta tiles, impressive stone and wild seas, it seemed perfect posing as King's Landing with high-rising cliffs and a stunning ancient city wall overlooking the Adriatic sea (ie. Blackwater Bay in the series). Historical tours, boat trips and several activities will also be included in the program.
