    Chemical Engineering 2018 is a specially designed cluster conference. The main theme of the conference is " The Next Generation of Chemical Engineering : From nanoscale to industrial scale " which covers a wide range of critically important sessions.

    The chemical sector has witnessed growth of 13-14% in the last 5 years while petrochemicals have registered a growth of 8-9% over the same period. The chemicals industry in India is the largest consumer of its own products, consuming 33% of its output. According to American Chemistry Council, the global chemicals industry reached the US$5 trillion sales mark in 2013. The chemical industry has shown rapid growth for more than fifty years. Presently the chemical industry has been concentrated in three areas of the world, Western Europe, North America and Japan (the Triad). The European Community remains the largest producer area followed by the US and Japan.
