    Revolving around the central theme of Building Resilience and Adaptation for Sustainable Development, the 3rd WCDM-2017 will involve national and sub-national governments, scientific and technical organizations, academia, professional bodies, industrial sector, civil society, practitioners, media along with UN bodies, multi-lateral and regional organizations. The Third World Congress envisages co-learning through exchange of dynamic information, knowledge and best practices, sharing of innovations, new models and body of research, develop new partnerships, cultural exchanges, build social networks and honour the champions of disaster management.

    Focus: Marginalized sections of the society, International-National and Sub National Policy regime and Localization.

    The core mission of the Congress is to share and reflect on knowledge, experiences and good practices on different aspects of disaster risk management, among various stakeholders, across multiple sectors and disciplines, within and outside governments, and at all possible levels, for BUILDING A SAFE AND DISASTER RESILIENT FUTURE.
