NANOP: Putting Nanophotonics to work.Owing to the unique optical properties of nanometre-scale systems, Nanophotonics has become a very efficient tool to control light-matter interaction beyond the limit of diffraction. Recent developments in this field have shown the immense potential of nanophotonics to contribute to a wide spectrum of scientific disciplines, ranging from fundamental physics to optical engineering, and from biology to clean energies. This second edition of the NANOP conference focuses on the transversal nature of Nanophotonics, by offering an international forum on the latest advances in the field from basic to applied research. The target is to set up one of the most attractive international annual gatherings of experts from all around the world, in order for them to exchange about their latest research results and share their ideas. Submit your work through a systematic abstract management system and join us to attend to high quality presentations on the following topics:Photonic & plasmonic nanomaterialsOptical properties of nanostructuresNonlinear nano-opticsQuantum dots and colour centresStrong light-matter interactions at the nanoscaleMetamaterialsEnhanced spectroscopy and sensingNano-OptomechanicsQuantum nano-opticsNanoscale photothermal effectsNanomedicineEarly bird submission - April 5, 2017Early bird registration - May 5, 2017Regular submission - June 28, 2017Regular registration - July 28, 2017Conference - Sept 13-15, 2017
