    Conference Description

    The International Conference on Computational intelligence and communication technology (ICICT-2017) is organized to address various issues to prosper the creation of intelligent solutions in future. The aim is to bring together worldwide leading researchers, developers, practitioners and educators interested in advancing the state of the art in computational intelligence and communication technology for exchanging knowledge that encompasses a broad range of disciplines among various distinct communities. It is expected that researchers will bring new prospect for collaboration across disciplines and gain idea facilitating novel breakthrough. The theme for this conference is innovating and inspiring the researchers to adopt the outcome for implementation. The conference will provide an exceptional platform to the researchers to meet and discuss the utmost solutions, scientific results and methods in solving intriguing problems with people that actively involved in these evergreen fields. The 2-day conference commencing on 12-13th Feb, 2017, will feature prominent keynote speakers, tutorials and paper presentation in parallel sessions. ICICT 2017 will no doubt be proven to be exciting and educative.

    Prof. Valentina E. Balas

    Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad, Romania

    Valentina E. Balas is currently Full Professor in the Department of Automatics and Applied Software at the Faculty of Engineering, University Aurel Vlaicu Arad (Romania). She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Electronics and Telecommunications from Polytechnic University of Timisoara. She is author of more than 160 research papers in refereed journals and International Conferences. Her research interests are in Intelligent Systems, Fuzzy Control, Soft Computing, Smart Sensors, Information Fusion, Modeling and Simulation. She is the Editor-in Chief to International Journal of Advanced Intelligence Paradigms (IJAIP), member in Editorial Board member of several national and international journals and is evaluator expert for national and international projects. Dr. Balas participated in many international conferences as General Chair, Organizer, Session Chair and member in International Program Committee. She was a mentor for many student teams in Microsoft (Imagine Cup), Google and IEEE competitions in the last years. She is a member of EUSFLAT, ACM and a Senior Member IEEE, member in TC Fuzzy Systems (IEEE CIS), member in TC - Emergent Technologies (IEEE CIS), member in TC Soft Computing (IEEE SMCS) and also a member in IFAC - TC 3.2 Computational Intelligence in Control. Dr. Balas is Vice-president (Awards) of IFSA International Fuzzy Systems Association Council and Join Secretary of Joint Secretary of the Governing Council of Forum for Interdisciplinary Mathematics (FIM), - A Multidisciplinary Academic Body, India.
