Call For Papers - CFP
The World Symposium on Civil Engineering (WSCE 2017) is organized by the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), a non-profit international association for the engineers and the computer scientists. The conference has been formerly part of The 24th International MultiConference of Engineers and Computer Scientists (IMECS) 2016. The conference has the focus on the frontier topics in the theoretical and applied materials science and engineering subjects. The WSCE conference serves as good platforms for our members and the entire materials engineering community to meet with each other and to exchange ideas in small groups and to discuss the frontier topics in details. Our IMECS committees have been formed with committee members who are mainly research center heads, faculty deans, department heads, professors, and research scientists. The last IMECS conference has attracted more than seven hundred participants from over 50 countries. All submitted papers will be under peer review and accepted papers will be published in the conference proceeding (ISBN: 978-988-14047-8-7). The abstracts will be indexed and available at major academic databases. The accepted papers will also be considered for publication in the special issues of the journal Engineering Letters and in post-conference edited books. The journal Engineering Letters covers the frontier issues including the materials science and engineering. The abstracts of the journal are indexed and available at major academic databases (like for example Scopus, EI Compendex and Thomson Reuters Emerging Sources Citation Index). The topics of the WSCE'17 include, but not limited to, the following:Behavior of StructuresBuilding and Environmental AcousticsBuilding Climate SystemsBuilding EnergyCivil and Environmental EngineeringCoastal EngineeringComposite MaterialsConcrete StructuresConstruction EconomicsConstruction EngineeringDesign and Performance of Green BuildingDesign Optimization of StructuresEarthquake EngineeringEnergy Efficient Building TechnologyEvaluation of Glazing Systems for Energy PerformanceFire EngineeringFoundations DynamicsGeotechnical EngineeringHealth Monitoring and Life Prediction of StructuresHigh Performance ConcreteHydraulic EngineeringLife Cycle EngineeringMaterials and DurabilityMaterials EngineeringMechanics and Materials Aspects of Advanced Construction MaterialsMunicipal or Urban EngineeringNondestructive Testing and EvaluationNumerical Modelling of StructuresOptimal Design of StructuresProperties and Mechanics of ConcreteResidential, Commercial, Industrial and Public WorksRisk ManagementSimulation OptimizationSoil-Structure InteractionStructural EngineeringStructural Reliability AnalysisSurveyingSustainable StructuresTransportation EngineeringVentilation and Indoor Air QualityWater Supply and Drainage
